School bus transporting special-needs passengers loses wheels

High school pushes to pave disabled student's rough road
TOPPENISH, Wash. — Officials at a local high school said they have stopped transporting a disabled student because the road leading to the mobile home park where he lives is unsafe for him to travel on. In an effort to prompt the park’s owners to pave the heavily-pitted road, school officials sent a copy of their correspondence to the U.S. Department of Justice.
