Next year’s Southeastern States Pupil Transportation Conference (SESPTC) will be held in Charleston, West Virginia, organizers have announced.
The 2016 conference will take place July 9 to 13 at the Charleston Marriott Town Center and the Charleston Civic Center. The event will be a joint conference with the West Virginia Association for Pupil Transportation.
SESPTC brings together pupil transportation professionals from 14 states in the Southeast. The agenda typically includes a variety of speakers and workshops as well as a half-day trade show.
During the 2016 event, there will be a new session on the afternoon of July 10 for all state pupil transportation directors and their state organization officers. SESPTC President Tom Farmer said that the session will be an exchange of solutions to challenges that many states are facing.
SESPTC moves to a different member state each year. This year, the conference was held in Arlington, Texas.
