Some school bus drivers in Quebec are asking to be notified if they recently transported a student who tested positive for COVID-19, Global Newsreports.
School boards and service centers in Quebec are not currently required to let their partner organizations, which include school bus companies, know when a school has a confirmed COVID-19 case, according to the news source. The government does, however, require administrators to notify all parents and staff members at a school when it becomes the site of an infection, according to a news release obtained by Global News from the Confédération des Syndicats Nationaux union, which represents 3,500 school bus drivers in Quebec.
