DENVER — School Bus Logistics LLC recently expanded its staff with three pupil transportation industry veterans.

The Denver-based company, which provides logistics consulting and support to school districts across North America, hired Scott French as transportation consultant, Jim Bergeron as route logistics specialist, and Barbara Reyes as route logistics manager.

French brings more than 40 years of industry experience to the School Bus Logistics team. Since 2001, he has held director of transportation roles at three large Colorado districts: Aurora Public Schools, Poudre School District in Fort Collins, and Littleton Public Schools.

French has also served as a legislative representative for the Colorado State Pupil Transportation Association, a Colorado delegate at the 16th National Congress on School Transportation, and, currently, a representative of the Colorado Department of Education Transportation Advisory Council for Denver metro area school districts.

"When Scott and I discussed his willingness to come on board with SBL, I jumped at the opportunity,” said Robert Jacobus, CEO and founder of School Bus Logistics. “Not only does he understand the workings of school bus transportation, he is an active member of the industry and part of the team helping to modernize pupil transport."

Bergeron is a school bus operations and route management professional with nine years of industry experience. That includes managing driver performance issues and collaborating with bus companies and school districts to establish routes.

With more than 20 years in the industry, Reyes brings knowledge of driver needs, routing, operations, and logistics. During her time at Littleton Public Schools, she developed and oversaw routing for more than 7,500 students and 26 in-district sites, as well as numerous out-of-district sites.
