STANTON, Mich. — A school bus and a horse and buggy were involved in a collision here on Thursday.
The crash was reported at 8:22 a.m. in Montcalm Township, according to a news release from the Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation revealed that a Montcalm Area Intermediate School District bus and the horse and buggy began to pull into the intersection at the same time, causing the horse to strike the bus in the front driver’s side fender. The bus and buggy sustained minor damage.
There were four students on the bus. No one was injured. The driver of the buggy reported that his horse appeared unharmed as well.
