Check This Out: How to Optimize Work with Consultants
RTA Debuts Fleet Consulting Services
The fleet software provider now also offers fleet management consulting services, available to school admins in need of outside help.

RTA Consulting will provide expert guidance for fleets, and it's available regardless of RTA customer status.

RTA may not be a common supplier name you hear in the school transportation industry — but that may change for school bus fleets needing expert advice. RTA: The Fleet Success Company has offered fleet maintenance and management information software (FMIS) for over 40 years. And now, it has expanded its offerings, adding RTA Consulting to the mix.
According to the company, this service fills critical gaps by addressing common challenges faced by fleet managers, such as resource limitations, skills gaps, and a need for external support on strategic projects.
RTA Consulting provides expert guidance in key areas, independent of RTA’s software offerings, meaning they're available to all fleets — whether or not they’re current RTA customers.
“Any fleet can leverage RTA Consulting without being pressured to become RTA software customers,” said Marc Canton, head of product and consulting. “We only want to help fleets succeed and use their existing fleet management software to its full capacity.”
RTA Consulting's team of professionals have consulted with hundreds of fleets and have more than 300 years of combined experience. The company said that they have saved clients more than $25 million already.
Their consulting services can assist with projects such as:
EV Transition Planning
Fleet Right-Sizing
Fleet Replacement Planning
Fleet Performance
Mergers & Acquisitions
Infrastructure Recommendations
Data and Technology Analysis
Policy Development
Staffing and Recruitment
Operations Assessments
First Student also just recently announced its own consulting arm called First Services.
