REMINDER: SBF to spotlight school bus heroes
Our "Heroes in School Transportation" feature will again profile people in the industry who have saved a life or performed some other heroic act. The deadline for nominations is this Friday, Nov. 4.

Aide LaVay Calhoun and driver Ron Rook were praised for their response to a medical emergency on their bus. The duo was profiled in SBF's first "Heroes in School Transportation" feature.
Calling all heroes!
In the second edition of our "Heroes in School Transportation" feature, SCHOOL BUS FLEET will again profile people in the industry who have saved a life or performed some other heroic act.
Candidates should work in pupil transportation in some capacity, and their heroism — whether it was on or off the job — should have taken place approximately within the past year.
If you know of someone who fits that description, send us an e-mail at info@schoolbusfleet.com with a brief explanation of his or her daring deed.
We’ll accept nominations until Friday, Nov. 4.
