PBS show to highlight school transportation
The second episode of the “America Revealed” series will focus on the workings of America’s vast transportation network. A spokesperson says that the episode will include coverage of “one of the nation’s most important modes of public transportation: the school bus.”
The yellow school bus will come into the spotlight during a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) program next week.
The second episode of the “America Revealed” series will focus on the workings of America’s vast transportation network. A spokesperson informed the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS) that the episode, titled “Nation on the Move,” will cover “one of the nation’s most important modes of public transportation: the school bus.”
“We are letting you know about this PBS program because its story and perspective will be of interest to your membership,” the spokesperson said in an e-mail to NASDPTS. “’Nation on the Move’ offers a unique, educational and sophisticated analytical perspective on the essential components of the nation’s infrastructure system that keep Americans moving every day.”
The episode is slated to air on Wednesday, April 18. It will be made available online here on April 19.
