Nuvve Holding Corp. announced it has been awarded a second contract with Sourcewell, a cooperative purchasing organization serving more than 75,000 public agencies across the U.S. The agreement strengthens the partnership between Nuvve and Sourcewell, expanding access to fleet electrification solutions for schools, municipalities, and other public entities.

“This second award reinforces the trust and shared vision between our organizations,” said Gregory Poilasne, CEO and co-founder of Nuvve. “It simplifies the procurement process for public agencies and supports more efficient fleet electrification.”

Simplifying the Path to Electrification

Through Sourcewell’s cooperative purchasing system, government, education, and nonprofit agencies can streamline the transition to electric vehicle (EV) fleets. Traditionally, these agencies faced lengthy bidding and approval processes before moving forward with electrification projects.

The partnership gives participating organizations immediate access to Nuvve’s charging and energy management products, including Level 2 AC chargers, unidirectional and bidirectional DC fast chargers, and the Nuvve FLEETBOX energy management platform.

Supporting School and Municipal Fleets

Nuvve’s work with Sourcewell is designed to make EV adoption more accessible for public fleets, particularly in school districts and local governments. The company’s vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology enables electric school buses and other vehicles to store and return energy to the grid, supporting cost savings and energy resilience.

“This contract marks another step forward in our mission to help communities transition to clean transportation,” Poilasne said.
