ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Travis Pryor has joined the National School Transportation Association (NSTA) as marketing and communications coordinator.

Pryor is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in communications. Officials said he has had several internships in his field of study relating to marketing, public relations, social and digital media, and more.

In his spare time, Pryor is a trumpet player and he enjoys reading. He can be reached at tpryor@yellowbuses.org.

“Travis is eager to contribute to our yellow team and we are happy to have him on board,” NSTA officials said in a statement.

Pryor replaces Megan Benfatti, who joined the association in 2012 as communications and marketing manager.

“Megan has left us to pursue an opportunity to further her website and web development talents,” the association said. “We thank her for her tireless efforts on our behalf and wish her well.”
