Patti Royce-Moser has been promoted to vice president of operations at Educational Bus in Copiague, New York, a school transportation company owned by The Trans Group.

Royce-Moser has been a longtime routing coordinator with Educational Bus Transportation, which serves districts throughout Nassau County and western Suffolk County.

The announcement was made on Jan. 9 by Trans Group President John Corr Jr.

“For the past two decades, Patti has played an integral role in the success of Educational Bus,” Corr said. “As the company grew to serve additional school districts, Patti took on greater responsibility, all the while mastering every aspect of operations. It is a privilege to know her these many years and I congratulate Patti on behalf of the entire Educational Bus family.”

In her new position as vice president of operations, Royce-Moser will provide support, leadership, and direction to Educational Bus Transportation’s operating locations throughout Long Island. She will also control the daily operation of all transportation contracts, in compliance with the policies of the contracting agencies and in conformance with company policies and procedures.

A recipient of the Golden Merit Award from the National School Transportation Association, Royce-Moser also received the Seven Seals Award from the U.S. Department of Defense, and has been recognized for her contributions to the advisory board for intelligent transportation technology supplier Transfinder.

Headquartered in Spring Valley, New York, The Trans Group employs over 2,000 people and is comprised of 11 school and public transit operations serving lower New York state and Long Island.
