Zonar Systems and AngelTrax collaborated on the system, which offers Zonar's Electronic Vehicle Inspection Report feature and real-time vehicle location via GPS, as well as AngelTrax's Virtual Synchronized Mapping feature, high-resolution cameras and FlexPlay video playback software.
Zonar Systems and digital video surveillance supplier AngelTrax have combined their efforts to provide a single source offering that joins electronic fleet inspection, Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), video surveillance and fleet management solutions. The system offers fleet operations improved overall fleet safety, asset protection and efficiency, according to the manufacturers.
Zonar's core products include:
EVIR (Electronic Vehicle Inspection Report): a tag and inspect system that ensures pre- and post-trip inspection compliance, including verified child checks, while eliminating paperwork and speeding vehicle repair.
V2J: next generation GPS capabilities that combine real-time delivery of vehicle location, operation, condition and performance data in one device.
ZPass: patented real-time, Web-based student tracking.
Ground Traffic Control: a Web-based fleet management portal.
AngelTrax provides mobile video surveillance solutions to public transportation fleets to promote passenger safety, prevent disorderly conduct, assist in tracking problem motorists, protect drivers and other employees from fraudulent claims, enforce good driving practices, deter vandalism and to investigate collisions.
