The student transportation provider gives more than 50 turkeys and a monetary contribution to the Lisle (Ill.) Township Food Pantry.
LISLE, Ill. — Student transportation provider National Express LLC donated more than 50 turkeys and a monetary contribution to the Lisle Township Food Pantry.
”We are thrilled that National Express is providing such a significant donation,” Mary Jo Mullen, Lisle Township supervisor. “Their generosity will help Lisle Township’s residents in need enjoy a holiday meal.”
The donation ties in with National Express’ ongoing efforts to give back to communities, especially during the holidays. The company’s locations across North America partner with school districts and cities to help community members through charitable acts such as food and clothing donations and toy drives.
“Our National Express family takes pride in partnering with organizations that help families that are in need during the holiday season and throughout the year,” said Matthew Ashley, president and CEO of National Express LLC. “Whether it is here in Lisle or in the 39 states in which we operate, I am proud to have such a wonderful and caring team of people making a difference every day in all that they do.”
