NAPT Webinar to Address School Shootings

Dealing with tragic events like school shootings will be the focus of a webinar to be hosted by the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT).
The webinar, titled “School & Mass Shootings in America: What Now?”, is slated to take place on March 7 at 2 p.m. Eastern time. It is open to both NAPT members and non-members.
Dr. Jaclyn Schildkraut, a researcher on the topic of school and mass shootings, will lead the webinar. NAPT said that Schildkraut “will explore the roles everyone interested in the safety, health, and general welfare of children in America can and should play in helping our communities understand and respond to tragic events like the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.” Schildkraut will also discuss the impact of media coverage of mass shootings.
