KANSAS CITY, Mo. — School choice, employee retention, and school shootings are among the topics on tap for the National Association for Pupil Transportation’s (NAPT’s) 2018 conference this fall.
NAPT recently unveiled the program lineup for the annual event, which will be held in Kansas City from Oct. 27 to 30.

Other workshop topics include deploying and funding electric school buses; a recent American Academy of Pediatrics report; driver screening; school bus Wi-Fi’s impact on student behavior; and fleet maintenance and replacement.
As previously reported, the NAPT 2018 conference will feature a live-action event that will demonstrate school bus fires and their impact on student evacuations.
The agenda also includes NAPT’s annual trade show as well as a new product showcase session.
