Entrepreneur and TED speaker Jia Jiang advocates stepping outside of one’s comfort zone and learning from failures.
Jia Jiang promotes a concept called “Rejection Therapy” to help overcome fear and pursue success.
He even practiced what he preaches with his 100 Days of Rejection project, in which he made such outlandish requests as asking to speak over the intercom at Costco and ordering doughnuts linked liked the Olympic rings at Krispy Kreme.

The point in courting rejection, Jiang told School Bus Fleet in an interview, is to step outside of one’s comfort zone and to learn from failures. This can help in pursuing more ambitious goals, according to Jiang.
“If you’re not afraid,” he said, “you’re going to start embracing stuff that you didn’t think was going to be possible.”
