ALBANY, N.Y. — The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) has selected Louisville, Ky., as the site of the 35th Annual NAPT Conference and Trade Show in 2009.
Dates and other information about the 2009 event will be announced in the near future.
The NAPT also revealed the keynote speakers for its 2007 convention, which will be held in Grand Rapids, Mich., from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.
Bill Butterworth, who entertained attendees of last year’s event with his advice for running the race called life, will again deliver a keynote speech.
Also addressing the crowd will be Mack Dryden, a writer/comedian/actor who has appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, and Craig Zablocki, a nationally renowned speaker who was the first outsider to speak at Columbine High School after the 1999 massacre.
The 2008 NAPT Conference and Trade Show will be held in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
