“Our brushed alternators offer consistent, reliable performance under a wide variety of operating conditions, while also offering remarkable value for fleets looking to maximize their investment,” said Jonathan Smith, the assistant director of aftermarket sales and marketing for LoadHandler Power Products. “Not only are they affordable, but their all-new construction means they are designed to last longer than competing remanufactured models.”
The LoadHandler L24 Alternator provides 160-amp output, and also features a dual internal fan design.
The L22 model weighs 14.1 pounds, offers a 150-amp output, and is rated at 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius). The L24 model weighs 16.2 pounds, delivers 160-amp output, and is also rated at 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius). The L28 model weighs 18.7 pounds, provides 200-amp output, and is rated at 221 degrees Fahrenheit (105 degrees Celsius).
Each alternator is available in J180 and pad mount configurations, and includes heavy duty bearing, rectifier, and diode for increased service life and performance in various operating environments. The LoadHandler L24 and L28 models also feature a dual internal fan design that increases service life and maintains optimal bearing temperature during operation.
In addition to a dual internal fan design, the LoadHandler L28 Alternator features remote sense capabilities.
