JVCKENWOOD USA (JKUSA) announced that it is enhancing its U.S. business model to provide digital integrated wireless systems solutions to professional user markets in the U.S.
The company recently established the Kenwood Integrated Solutions division to offer expanded infrastructure solutions featuring technologies like the DMR 2/3, DMR 2.5, NXDN Gen1/2, and traditional analog. This new model will prioritize integrated solutions with key partners for trunking, conventional, and simulcast systems.
JKUSA’s integrated solutions will feature its NEXEDGE product platforms for infrastructure construction and subscriber devices in VHF Hi/Lo, UHF, and 800/900 MHz bands. This platform delivers robust and cost-effective communications for clients requiring NXDN, analog, and DMR derivative solutions.
The company stated that enhancements are coming to the NEXEDGE platform to improve system performance, security, and usability.
EF Johnson Technologies, Inc., a JVCKENWOOD company, also announced a strategic business realignment that designates the company as JVCKENWOOD’s P25 Center of Excellence. This reinforces its dedication to delivering a fully integrated suite of mission‐critical solutions built on the KENWOOD Viking radios, ATLAS P25 Systems, and KAIROS infrastructure platform.
