TORRANCE, Calif. — Are school buses with hybrid propulsion the future of the industry?
Learn more about this up-and-coming technology during a Web seminar hosted by SCHOOL BUS FLEET and IC Corporation. The date of the presentation has not been finalized, but it will be free to anyone who has access to the Internet.
The seminar will provide viewers with information about existing hybrid technology and how it can be applied to school buses. This diesel-electric propulsion system significantly increases fuel economy and reduces emissions. Discussion will also focus on the recent introduction of IC Corporation hybrid school buses into fleets across the nation.
The seminar, which will be moderated by SBF Editor Steve Hirano, will also include a Q&A session that will allow viewers to submit questions to representatives of IC Corporation.
