DEPOSIT, N.Y. — Rob Stiteler, formerly with Navistar, joined Leonard Bus Sales last week as the new director of fixed operations.

Stiteler brings almost a decade of managerial and fixed-operations experience with Navistar International Truck and Engine Corp. to the Leonard Bus Sales team, company officials said.

“With more than three decades of transportation experience, 10 of them with Navistar, Rob has a deep understanding of the importance of going above and beyond to support our school transportation partners,” Leonard Bus Sales CEO Mike Leonard said. “Rob’s hands-on approach at Navistar ensures he will hit the ground running, not only for us, but more importantly for our school transportation partners.”

Prior to joining Leonard Bus Sales, Stiteler operated his own consulting business that helped car and truck industry managers improve customer satisfaction and increase business. Before that, he worked as the general manager of DealCor Operations for Navistar.

Among other responsibilities, Stiteler helped improve efficiency of parts and service departments within company-held retail dealerships. Stiteler works out of the Leonard Bus Sales facility in Rome, New York.

“I can’t think of a better company to work for,” Stiteler said. “Leonard Bus Sales has a national reputation for providing unmatched customer support, and I am proud to be part of this team. I am looking forward to doing my part to make sure we continue to exceed expectations and stay focused on the needs of our school transportation partners.”
