Officials said Hartman has led many First Student initiatives, including the recent redesign of FirstStudentInc.com, the company’s external website, and the development of proposal “microsites”— interactive websites that replace traditional paper proposals for new business.
Additionally, Hartman was integral to the launch of the company’s ZPass, MyFirstPass and Ride-to-School product offerings, and she was a key contributor to the First Student Charter marketing strategy.
“Bobbie’s experience and wealth of knowledge is an asset to the company,” said Roger Moore, senior vice president, commercial development. “She understands the many markets we operate, and her focus on marketing continues to move First Student forward.”
Hartman serves as the marketing chair for the National School Transportation Association. Outside of First Student, she is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University, teaching and designing courses in marketing and consumer behavior.
