First Student has been awarded a new three-year contract to continue providing school transportation for McLean County Unit District No. 5 in Normal, Illinois, starting with the 2015-16 school year.
“We have been proud to serve the district and look forward to continuing our partnership,” said Bob Rutkoski, First Student area general manager. “There is nothing more important than the safety of the students we transport, and our team is focused on delivering high-quality transportation services for the Normal community.”
First Student operates a fleet of more than 150 buses for McLean County Unit District No. 5. The buses travel nearly 2 million miles a year and deliver more than 10,000 students to 23 schools in the district.
First Student gains new Illinois contract
The contractor will continue to provide school transportation for McLean County Unit District No. 5 for the next three years.
