KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A school bus driver who was charged with DUI and reckless driving after she drove up on a curb and rear-ended a truck with her bus in 2010 said that she had accidentally mixed up her medication on the day of the accident, the Knoxville News Sentinel reports.
The reckless driving charge was dropped after a toxicology test showed there was no alcohol in Lynn McGlothlin's system. However, McGlothlin pled guilty under a deal that reduced her charge to minimum DUI, and she is no longer allowed to drive a school bus.
