Driver saves family from potential house fire
Georgia bus driver Brandi Holcomb notices a spark coming from a house and begins yelling and honking her horn to alert the people inside. Randy Roberts wakes up when he hears Holcomb, goes outside, and is able to disconnect the wire that is causing the spark.
ACWORTH, Ga. — FOX 5 reports that school bus driver Brandi Holcomb was able to alert a family in time to prevent a potential fire in their home while driving on her morning route.
Holcomb noticed a spark coming from a house and began yelling and honking her horn to alert the people inside. Randy Roberts told FOX 5 that he and his wife were asleep. He woke up when he heard Holcomb, went outside, and was able to disconnect the wire that was causing the spark.
Holcomb told the news outlet that she just did what anyone else would have done in that situation.
