STUTTGART, Germany — Daimler AG’s U.S.-based subsidiaries have partnered to donate $1 million to support the population in the southern U.S. affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The donation, from Mercedes-Benz USA, Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, and Daimler Trucks North America (the parent company of Thomas Built Buses), will be sent to American Red Cross and will be used for immediate disaster relief, emergency assistance, and other services needed by the victims of the hurricane.

Meanwhile, school bus operations in the region affected by the hurricane have been transporting evacuees as well as donated food and supplies.
