Daimler Donates $1 Million to Harvey Relief Efforts
The company’s U.S.-based subsidiaries, including the parent company of Thomas Built Buses, are donating the money to the American Red Cross.

STUTTGART, Germany — Daimler AG’s U.S.-based subsidiaries have partnered to donate $1 million to support the population in the southern U.S. affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The donation, from Mercedes-Benz USA, Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, and Daimler Trucks North America (the parent company of Thomas Built Buses), will be sent to American Red Cross and will be used for immediate disaster relief, emergency assistance, and other services needed by the victims of the hurricane.
Those interested in supporting the American Red Cross' Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts can visit www.redcross.org to make a donation or to volunteer.
Meanwhile, school bus operations in the region affected by the hurricane have been transporting evacuees as well as donated food and supplies.
