HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Collins Bus Corp. will be offering a full line of school bus products to the Canadian market.
The new Corbeil line will include Quantum single and dual rear-wheel buses, including the Quantum, Super Quantum, Grand Quantum and the MFSAB Multi-Function School Activity Bus.
The company is in the process of developing a Canadian dealer network to support the product line across Canada, according to Kent Tyler, president of Collins Bus.
Yves Lepine, chief operating officer for Collins Canada Inc., will direct sales for the market; Collins Canada will also support and service all current Corbeil buses in the field.
Collins Bus Corp. is a subsidiary of Collins Industries Inc. and markets three brands of Type-A buses — Collins, Mid Bus and Corbeil — throughout North America. It has over 70 dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
Two separate school districts in Illinois and Ohio have rolled out Transfinder's Routefinder and Tripfinder solutions, respectively.
