COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Collins Bus is now a corporate sponsor of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), officials announced this week.
As a result of this three year agreement, Collins Bus will offer "most favored customer" status to NJCAA member schools and associated discounts. Sales to member colleges will be through authorized Collins distributors or direct from Collins Bus.
"Collins has enjoyed being a supporter of the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship in Hutchinson [Kansas] over the years, but this agreement offers us a chance to show our products directly to member colleges," Collins Bus Corp. President Kent Tyler said.
"The safety of our student-athletes continues to be a top concern of the NJCAA," said Mary Ellen Leicht, executive director of the NJCAA. "This partnership with Collins Bus will answer those safety concerns when transporting teams of nine to 24 passengers. In addition, with today's budgets being what they are, Collins is dedicated to providing the best pricing available to NJCAA institutions."
