ANNAPOLIS, Md. — American Bus Sales & Service has awarded Wesley Harris, a sophomore who attends Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, its 2007 College School Bus Scholarship.
The $500 scholarship is awarded annually to an individual who has contributed to the school bus industry within Maryland.
“We are very pleased to present our 2007 scholarship to Wes Harris,” said Steve Leonard, president and CEO of the company. “Wes has proven himself to be an individual of outstanding character and he conducts himself with the highest level of personal integrity.”
Harris is studying food marketing at the University, is a resident assistant in his dormitory and participates in church activities within his hometown.
American Bus Sales & Service, a division of American Truck & Bus Inc., represents Thomas Built Buses, Daimler Commercial Buses, Setra Motor Coaches, Diamond Coach, Federal Coach and is a dealer for Freightliner Sprinter Vans.
