TISHOMINGO, Okla. — Two high school coaches were fired recently for reportedly taking a school bus to buy beer while students were attending basketball camp on a college campus, a school board member confirmed to KXII.

The camp took place at Connors State College, which does not allow alcohol on campus, according to the news source. Kyle Miller, a student who attended the three-day camp, told KXII that the students noticed that the bus was gone, but were told to stay in their dorms and didn’t find out what happened until the next day.

A school board member told the news source that a store clerk reported the coaches to college officials. Officials at the high school were notified and the coaches were immediately fired, according to KXII.
