Child’s thank-you note makes bus driver feel appreciated

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Alan Boyle, a bus driver for Henrico County Public Schools, received a note of appreciation from one of his passengers and contacted CBS 6 News to share it.
The news outlet reports that the note, from Gisella, a 7-year-old student, reads, “You are the best bus driver.”
Boyle told the news outlet that his “thankless” profession faces constant criticism for being late or holding up traffic, but the note made him feel special.
Gisella’s mother told CBS 6 News that at a time when there is so much talk of school violence, she is inspired by her daughter’s note.
