Two furry travelers recently tried unsuccessfully to ride school buses in Texas and Utah.
In Texas, Austin Independent School District (ISD) Police Department officers received a call last week that a Chihuahua boarded a school bus and was refusing to get off, according to the school district’s Facebook page.
“Apparently the word is out about Austin ISD education and excellent transportation,” the district wrote on its Facebook page.
The Chihuahua was taken to the Austin Animal Center, and if not claimed, he will be available for adoption.
Meanwhile, in Heber City, Utah, a goat tried to join “other kids” in boarding their school bus, which was headed to Old Mill Elementary School, on March 26, KSTU reported. Cellphone video taken and shared with the news source by Megan Mcphie, shows the goat, whose name is “Tango,” according to Mcphie, climbing into the school bus, being removed, then jumping back on.
