CARROLLTON, Va. — An innovative device designed specifically for school buses can help protect a student’s oxygen tank.
O2 Bus Buddy is a steel cabinet that affixes to the existing seat rail system on the side and floor of the bus, requiring only minimal drilling.
The unit has a hinged door with a 1-inch open area at the top for oxygen tubing. Inside, two cradles and quick-release buckles support the tank.
Additionally, the cabinet is covered with a flame-retardant, padded hat that can be removed and replaced.
