First Student provides shuttle service for golf tournament
SILVIS, Ill. — Organizers for a local golf tournament recently contracted with First Student to provide shuttle service for spectators. Tournament organizers had in previous years contracted with MetroLink, but the company opted out due to a Federal Transit Administration ruling that prohibits publicly subsidized transit systems from offering charter services.
