Illinois school district adapts to legislative changes
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Amendments to a state law will make it easier for bus drivers and transportation officials at a local school district to discipline students. The law stipulates that sounds recorded by cameras on school buses can now be used as evidence in disciplinary matters; signs must also be posted on all buses indicating that there is a camera on board. 45-year bus driver retires
IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Betty Kruppenbacher, a bus driver for East Irondequoit Central School District, has retired after almost 45 years on the job. She became a bus driver in September 1963 because of the flexible work schedule. To read the full story, click here.
