LISLE, Ill. — Navistar Inc. announced Thursday that Trish Reed will join IC Bus LLC as vice president and general manager. Reed will replace Carl Webb, who is taking on a new role as vice president and general manager, medium duty truck, Navistar.

Reed brings more than 24 years of industry experience, including roles at  Navistar as vice president of business operations at Navistar Financial Corp. and general manager of specialty vehicles for Uptime Parts.

Joining the company in 1989, Reed led a variety of activities at Navistar Financial to achieve growth and performance goals for a $3 billion retail lease and loan portfolio, including sales, marketing, credit underwriting, collections and customer service. Key roles have included vice president of business operations, vice president of marketing, director of the east region, and manager of the financial service center.

In her most recent role as president of UpTime Parts, Reed successfully reinvigorated a culture of teamwork to drive improved customer satisfaction and nearly double-digit sales growth.

“Trish’s collaborative approach and history of building high performance teams uniquely qualifies her to navigate this complex and market leading bus business,” said John McKinney, president of global bus and senior vice president of North American sales and marketing at Navistar. “We are excited Trish is joining the bus team to continue our commitment to protect and transport our nation’s schoolchildren.”

Reed earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University.
