Dale Wendell had been working with the school bus manufacturer in a sales and consulting capacity since April.

FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Dale Wendell has joined Blue Bird Corp. as vice president of global sales and marketing.

Wendell comes to the company following a career with Ford Motor Co., where he held executive leadership roles in domestic, export and fleet sales, as well as key marketing leadership roles.

He had been working with Blue Bird in a sales and consulting capacity since April.

“We are pleased to welcome Dale Wendell to the Blue Bird family," President and CEO Phil Horlock said. "Dale’s experience and strong leadership will be a great benefit to both Blue Bird and our global dealer network."
