BURLINGTON, N.J. — Arsenault Associates has released Dossier Version 5.1, the latest edition of its fleet asset maintenance management software.
Dossier Version 5.1 includes new analysis and automation tools to facilitate business decisions, eliminate duplicated efforts, enhance productivity and lower costs.
“The enhancements in Dossier 5.1 were developed in close collaboration with our user community,” said Bob Hausler, vice president of marketing and technology for Arsenault. “This feature set delivers benefits that are tangible and can be achieved immediately, such as better warranty cost recovery tools, improved personnel tracking and utilization, and quick identification of assets costing more than planned.”
Features include new warranty configuration options that provide reminders to file with OEM and parts suppliers to recover warranty dollars.
Unit exception reports allow users to easily review their fleets and locate vehicles or equipment running over service lifecycle cost and utilization thresholds, and under fuel performance thresholds. Reports isolate units ready to be replaced and pinpoint units performing above and below expectations.
Technicians can clock in and clock out on repair order tasks for more accurate reporting of time spent on individual jobs. Manual entry of start and stop times is also possible with Dossier 5.1.
For fleets with or considering onsite NAPA parts stores, usage and cost data can be automatically linked into the software.
“In addition to these major features, Dossier 5.1 adds dozens of functional and usability improvements, such as enhanced management of fluids, expanded barcode support, new tire management features and outsourced work management improvements,” Hausler said.
As with previous versions, Dossier 5.1 can be configured by the individual fleet. In the case of the new features, nearly all can be turned on and off or fine-tuned for specific purposes.
