NEWTON, Ala. — AngelTrax has released MOTOTrax, a mobile video surveillance management tool designed to give transportation professionals insight into fleet operations and total control over onboard surveillance equipment by collecting critical system data through instant wireless notifications.

With MOTOTrax, users can view the status and location of their vehicles, determine the health of their mobile surveillance systems and stream live video from vehicles in the field — without leaving the office, officials said.

"MOTOTrax gives fleet directors peace of mind of knowing the footage they need is being captured reliably," said Richie Howard, AngelTrax's president. "The constant stream of real-time information, presented in a logical format, keeps them up to date on everything happening in their fleet and allows them to respond immediately to any issues."

Accessible from any web browser, MOTOTrax organizes the data marked and recorded by AngelTrax DVRs in a tabular, searchable layout, designed to make finding specific details and creating customized reports simple.

MOTOTrax's dashboard area displays the most vital fleet information — key indicators, recent panic events, system health alerts and more — in a real-time graphical summary, allowing users to view the current status of the entire fleet at a glance.

System health alerts allow transportation directors to remain aware of the current status of their mobile video surveillance systems. Immediate notification of a system failure or camera loss eliminates excessive downtime by providing the information needed to address the issue quickly and effectively, officials said.

MOTOTrax's Automated Vehicle Location features include tracking fleet vehicles in real time and monitoring valuable statistics, such as total drive time, distance traveled, idle time and overspeed cost.

With Route Rewind, fleet directors can play back a vehicle's entire trip, turn by turn, from the operator's perspective. The Geo-fencing option allows users to outline a specific area on a map and receive alerts if a vehicle breaches that area, providing immediate notification of vehicles that travel outside their planned routes.

Moreover, Live View and Remote Setup features allow transportation directors to stream live video, and play back recorded footage from the onboard DVR's hard drive. Utilizing Remote Setup, users can instantly adjust mobile surveillance system settings on vehicles in operation, including system setup, vehicle IDs and camera settings.

MOTOTrax organizes all the data it collects into comprehensive, automated reports designed to make fleet management simpler and increase the efficiency of fleet operations. Information gathered in these reports can be used to help reduce idle times, decrease fuel consumption, promote better driving habits and increase overall customer service, according to the company.
