Reed Hooks has joined American Cooling Technology (ACT) as a regional sales manager, the bus air-conditioning supplier announced on Monday.
Hooks, based in Arizona, is assigned to ACT’s western territory and will focus on developing new accounts and servicing existing accounts, initially in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah.

Hooks joins ACT with more than 20 years of sales and service experience in the bus transportation industry, most recently at bus leasing company SBL as a sales and operation manager, and in various roles at Thermo King and Pierce Transit.
“With his extensive technical knowledge, operations and fleet maintenance bus background coupled with his industry knowledge and experience, ACT is very fortunate to have Reed join ACT to expand our HVAC application and customer support capabilities,” said Dave Oberdorff, president of the company.
