AA Transportation Adds 66 School Buses to Fleet
The Massachusetts-based contractor has also equipped its entire fleet with Zonar telematics and Seon Trooper TL-4 DVR camera systems.

AA Transportation of Massachusetts is receiving a mix of new Thomas Built and IC Bus units. The company president cited improved safety features, lower emissions, and better fuel economy as the driving factors for the upgrade.

SHREWSBURY, Mass. — AA Transportation is taking delivery of 66 new school buses for the 2016-17 school year.
Fifty-one of the new buses are Thomas Built Buses, and 15 are IC Bus units. There are 40 Type Cs, 20 Type Ds, and six Type As in the mix.
The company president cited improved safety features, lower emissions, and better fuel economy as the driving factors for the upgrade.
The investment in the new vehicles follows several large-scale upgrades in recent years, resulting in an average model year of 2014 across the entire fleet, one of the youngest in the region, according to Ron Ernenwein, president of AA Transportation.
Improved safety measures did not stop with that investment. The company has also equipped the entire fleet with Zonar telematics and Seon Trooper TL-4 DVR camera systems.
