The Global Ground Transportation Institute (GGTI), a new association for professionals from the limousine, shuttle bus, motorcoach, and autonomous vehicle industries and beyond, has now officially launched.

GGTI will be a global community dedicated to providing the ground transportation industry with networking opportunities, business performance improvement, and education.

The association will be rolling out numerous membership benefits over the coming months, including:

•    Member resource library.
•    Free webinars.
•    Training courses and educational events.
•    Marketing tools.
•    White papers.
•    Sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
•    Tools and templates.
•    Reduced registration at GGTI-partnered events.
•    Member directory.
•    Access to a database of over 200,000 corporate fleet and travel managers. Members will receive up to 100 records or database contacts for fleet and travel managers in their market.

The association is looking forward to partnering with many national, state, and regional associations so 25% of show registration fees will be rebated to all member associations for every member of theirs that attends a GGTI partnered trade show and indicates that they are a member of that association when registering. The attendee must also be a member of GGTI to receive credit.

The association is being launched in conjunction with School Bus Fleet's parent company, Bobit Business Media. The company has long served the global ground transportation industry, focusing on the limousine, bus, and fleet sectors, with brands such as Luxury Coach & Transportation, METRO, Automotive Fleet, and Heavy Duty Trucking, in addition to SBF.

Bobit’s fleet-specific brands reach 250,000 fleet professionals through nine magazines, 13 conferences and trade shows, and 11 industry websites. Bobit covers every aspect of the fleet market, including commercial, rental, and government fleets that utilize cars, vans, and light-medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Bobit is also a leader in the autonomous vehicle space with its Fleet Forward Conference.
