3 teens damage 31 buses in contractor's yard
Two of the boys are arrested and charged with burglary and vandalism, while another is on the run, for breaking into the bus yard and crashing buses into one another. The company estimates the damage at $200,000.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three teenagers damaged 31 school buses in a contractor's bus yard last Monday, WREG reports.
The teens, two of whom have been taken into custody, found keys inside some of the buses and began driving them into each other, according to police. Company officials told the news source it could cost up to $200,000 to repair and replace the damaged buses.
Police were able to get pictures of the boys from the cameras on the buses. The two 14-year-olds who have been arrested are facing seven counts of burglary and 24 counts of vandalism. Another teen is still on the run.
