ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Last year's sales of Touchdown, 247Security’s wireless video management solution, have exceeded expectations and interest continues to grow, according to the company.

“As we move into 2012, it is a great feeling to know that Touchdown has been received so strongly by the school bus community,” said Rob Scott, vice president of sales and marketing.

Touchdown combines video, GPS and G Force within a simple user environment. The wireless element of the product makes access to information easy and universal across school district or contractor operations.

“With Touchdown offering benefits to large and small fleets, we are so pleased to see transportation directors across the country grasp that Touchdown can improve operations while saving time and money,” said Josie Wilkes, regional sales director for 247Security. “I think the thought of never having to go out to a bus to pull a hard drive again gets people excited.”

247Security recently held an information session in Denver, and Wilkes said that the company's team was well received.

"The Q&A with our director of engineering was outstanding, as participants were very interested in becoming educated on this new way of managing a video program," she added.

Getting a daily system health check to ensure that video systems are operating is one of the benefits built into the Touchdown system. Company officials said that with no recurring fees, Touchdown provides a unique way of tracking a fleet’s movements, capturing video of events and linking the two seamlessly.
