ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Jeff Kulick has resigned as executive director of the National School Transportation Association (NSTA). His last day was April 29.
Kulick joined the NSTA in 2001, replacing Karen Finkel, who had held the post for 19 years.
Over the past three years, Kulick helped NSTA institute a new membership dues schedule, revamp its large meetings, expand the board of directors and release a white paper titled “The Yellow School Bus Industry.” He also helped the association win an Environmental Protection Agency grant under the Clean School Bus program.
“Jeff was the right person for the times and was a great help in moving NSTA forward,” said Dale Krapf, president of the association. “NSTA members and the board of directors wish him much success in his future endeavors.”
Krapf said the organization was expecting a smooth transitional period.

Transportation leaders say when their districts implemented Transfinder's AI enhanced logistics technology, it paid for itself in financial savings, time savings and operational headache reductions (OHR). In this white paper transportation experts share specific ways they have experienced how Transfinder P.A.Y.S. (Pay As You Save) off. Each, in their own way, said transportation technology is not simply a software purchase — it’s a strategic investment in operational efficiency, cost containment and staff satisfaction.
