FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Blue Bird Corp. has added Canyon State Bus Sales Inc. to its network of school bus dealers.
The full-service distributor, which is based in Phoenix, will offer the complete line of Blue Bird school bus products in Arizona.
“Our decision to represent Blue Bird in Arizona was driven by customer loyalty and Blue Bird’s unique ability to offer high quality, innovative and safe products,” said Phil Polizzatto, president of Canyon State Bus Sales.
Tim Kiefer, Blue Bird’s director of North American school bus sales, touted the distributor’s experienced sales and management team. Keifer said he’s confident that “[Blue Bird’s] loyal customers in Arizona will be treated to the highest possible level of professionalism and after-purchase support.”
In other Blue Bird news, several Georgia General Assembly members paid a visit to the company’s manufacturing plant in LaFayette.
The Blue Bird visit, which included House Economic Development and Tourism Committee Chairman Larry Parrish and House Speaker Terry Coleman, was part of a tour of industrial operations in the northwestern region of the state.
The legislators said the purpose of the tour, which was organized by Rep. Barbara Reece, was to further their understanding of the area and its businesses.
