Dashboard Can Show Tire Maintenance Savings
TireStamp Inc.’s new Savings Dashboard is designed to show the savings that fleets are achieving with the TireVigil Cloud tire monitoring and management solution, based on tire maintenance performance data and costs. It complements the Maintenance Dashboard, which summarizes a fleet’s tire maintenance performance. The summary is based on real-time metrics generated from data accumulated from vehicles equipped with the TireVigil Cloud solution.
The Savings Dashboard can provide an instant snapshot of a fleet’s key tire cost metrics, annual and monthly savings generated by vehicles equipped with the TireVigil Cloud solution, and projected savings attainable by deploying TireVigil throughout the entire fleet. Results are calculated daily using TireVigil Cloud’s algorithms and analytics.
The QuickFit oil change system aims to expedite oil changes, making them possible to complete in less than 30 minutes, according to the company.
By providing a single point of connection, QuickFit can alleviate the issues of confined space, which can pose safety and ergonomic risks, and multiple drain and fill points, which increase the chances for cross-contamination and spills when removing an oil filter. The system’s three-step process purges, evacuates, and refills oil all from that connection point. QuickFit uses compressed air to purge the oil by pushing it through the filter into the engine sump, drains oil directly to waste containment for clean filter removal, and pumps new oil into the engine from the connection point.
The PowerPro 7.5, a new 24-volt, 7.5 kilowatt in-line, gear reduction starter motor, is designed for use in diesel engines up to 16 liters, and offers consistent, high-output power in a small, lightweight package.
The starter can work as a replacement in AGCO Power, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, John Deere, Mercedes-Benz, Perkins, Volvo, and other engine models.
The PowerPro 7.5 includes Prestolite’s Integral Mag Switch (IMS) technology, which helps to eliminate voltage drop issues by minimizing wiring between the relay and solenoid. The motor also features a sealed, noseless design to protect against dust, oil, water, and other contaminants.
Rotary has introduced three heavy-duty tire changers to help technicians change tires on buses and other vehicles.
The R511 Commercial HD (left image) can service the widest range of wheels. Maximum tire width is 36.4 inches, and maximum diameter is 64 inches.
The R501N Speed Changer HD (middle) can dismount and mount a truck tire in 30 seconds, according to Rotary. It is equipped with four rollers positioned on both sides of the wheel in diametrically opposite positions. Maximum tire width is 21 inches, and maximum diameter is 52 inches.
The R560 Mobile HD (right) is designed for both roadside and workshop service, suitable for closed vans or small workshops. Maximum tire width is 37.4 inches, and maximum diameter is 51 inches.
The new 1,200-gallon bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank is an ISO-compliant (ISO 22241) turnkey dispensing system designed for use in retail and large fleet operations.
The tank is built with a focus on fluid purity, and its closed system is available with either a polyethylene DEF tank or a stainless steel tank. It can be outfitted with single- or dual-sided dispensing stations.
The system pumps DEF at 10 gallons per minute and features a digital DEF meter, 20-foot auto-retracting hose reel, and weather-sealed nozzle enclosure. An optional thermostatically controlled cold weather package includes a six-sided/2-inch R19 insulation wrap, a tank temperature monitor, and a heated dispensing cabinet.
