7 School Bus Drivers Honored for Decades of Service
The drivers from Churchill County (Nev.) School District are recognized for their combined total of 288 years of service.

FALLON, Nev. — A group of school bus drivers here were recognized for their decades of service to their school district and community.
Mayor Ken Tedford and members of the Fallon City Council honored seven Churchill County School District drivers during a ceremony on Jan. 23, according to a post on the district's transportation department’s Facebook page.

The drivers, listed below, were each presented with a plaque and flowers:
Ellen Clyburn-Jackson, 34 years
Toni Dalluge, 39 years
Stena Dowling, 34 years
Tina Grenamyer-Nickles, 50 years
Evelyn Lammel, 48 years
Donna Lima, 42 years
Marsha Metz, 41 years
Several ceremony attendees, including members of the city council, said that they had ridden on the driver's buses, according to the transportation department. The drivers have a combined total of 288 years of service.
Kenny Mitchell, the transportation director for Churchill County School District, told Nevada Appeal that he was pleased to see the mayor and the city council recognize the group of drivers, and that they were all deserving of the honor.
