The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS) is looking to hire a new administrative and membership services representative.
The opening comes with the resignation of Nikki Hughes, which was effective on Monday. Hughes took on the NASDPTS administrative post last year after retiring as director of school transportation services at San Juan Unified School District in California.
“The association leadership wishes to thank Ms. Hughes for her years of dedicated service in student transportation at the state and local levels, and for her service to the association, its members, and the others we serve,” NASDPTS President Leon Langley said in a press release.
Those interested in contracting with NASDPTS to provide administrative and membership services can go to the association’s website, www.nasdpts.org, where details on the position and the application process are posted (look under the “News” header).
The application window closes on March 1. Interviews will be conducted on March 14 at the Transporting Students with Disabilities Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
For questions about the position, email Langley at leon.langley@maryland.gov.
