KANSAS CITY, Mo. — HSM Transportation Solutions has improved and reintroduced its C.E. White Portable Child Restraint (PCR) for school buses.
The five-point restraint system, originally introduced in 2013, is designed to accommodate children weighing 20 to 90 pounds and up to 57 inches in height.
The PCR attaches to any school bus seat and provides a cushioned seat and vertical shoulder slides for height adjustments.
When not in use, the PCR’s belts and attachment straps fold into a self-contained carrying case. The case has an adjustable strap that can be used as a handle or shoulder strap for portability.
The PCR meets FMVSS 213 and all Head Start standards, according to HSM.
